Oil reservoir for servo oil with built-in return filter to remove any dirt in the system.

When the filter is built into the tank, it also removes eddies and gas bubbles that like to create bigger problems than you think. If there is turbulence in the can so that foam is sucked into the pump, it generates a lot of heat in the pump and the oil heats up quickly, which is not good.

The jar also has an oil dipstick.
